The Level 3 Certificate in Canine Nutrition has been designed to give you knowledge and understanding relating to canine nutrition, feeding regimes and the impact of diet on animal health and behaviour.
You will learn to understand a range of appropriate diets and be able to assess their nutritional composition. You will also learn to understand how diets and their content can affect canine health and behaviour and recognise the impact that toxic foods and supplements have on the species.

This course is for you if you wish to increase your knowledge and understanding relating to canine nutrition and feeding. Ideal for people who are already working in the animal care industry to enhance their understanding and for dog owners.

This qualification will also allow you to progress onto another Level 3 or Level 4 qualification in a related subject area.

Rebecca works as a tutor, course writer, and senior support worker in the mental health sector for 20yrs. She also specialises in communication and person centred planning, advocating for hundreds of individuals. She has brought these skills into working with and advocating for dogs. She runs international workshops, conferences and seminars, for people who want to learn more about dogs, focusing on the dogs perspective. She also runs an online learning platform for passionate guardians wanting to build better relationships with their dogs. Good communication, empowerment and the need for advocacy are still her core passions when working with any sentient beings, humans or other.
